  • Depending on the package you choose, sessions typically last between 10 and 20 minutes. Plan to spend 30 minutes to an hour at our clinic so we can ensure you leave with lasting memories.

  • Absolutely! We welcome you to share this special moment with family and friends, including children. We currently allow up to 5 guests per appointment.

  • This is an elective, non-medical procedure, we do not accept insurance. We accept all major credit and debit cards.

  • This is an elective procedure, we do not contact your doctor. However, we do require that you are under prenatal care before seeing you in our studio. If we see something concerning during your scan, we will refer you back to your healthcare provider.

  • Yes, 3D and 4D ultrasounds use the same safe technology and frequency as traditional 2D ultrasounds. This technology has been safely used for decades without any proven negative effects when performed correctly. We strictly follow FDA guidelines to ensure your safety and comfort.

  • A 3D ultrasound captures a detailed still image of your baby, while 4D adds the element of real-time motion, creating a video-like experience so you can watch your baby move.

  • Early scans between 15-26 weeks allow you to see your baby’s full form. Scans from 25-34 weeks provide more detailed images of the face. Between 28-32 weeks, babies have more fat, making for clearer, more defined facial features.

  • We can typically determine gender with high accuracy as early as 14 weeks. If we’re unable to determine the gender due to the baby’s position, we’ll offer you a free re-scan within 2 weeks.

  • Staying well-hydrated is key. Drinking plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment helps keep your amniotic fluid clear, improving image quality. Factors such as baby’s position, amount of fluid, and maternal build also influence the clarity of the images.

  • If we’re unable to capture clear images due to factors like baby’s position or fluid levels, we’ll offer a free re-scan within the next 14 days to try again.

  • If you know your baby is breech we recommend not scheduling your appointment with us while they are breech, this will affect image quality and make for a more difficult time to get pictures. Try scheduling a few weeks later to give your baby time to turn.

  • Yes, we encourage all moms to have a 3D/4D ultrasound! However, we suggest scheduling your session after 30 weeks to allow more time for baby’s features to develop. Drinking plenty of water leading up to your appointment will also help ensure the best possible images.
